About
Who writes this, and why?
explainquantum is a free course that explains quantum technology one question at a time. Each page answers one question and works on its own, and the pages build into a path called Quantum Essentials. Nobody has to sign in.
Zayn Blore
I write every page. I'm an independent researcher in the foundations of quantum mechanics. My own programme is called Constraint-Surface Dynamics (CSD), and I check its mathematics in Lean, a language in which a computer verifies every step of every proof.

How the course stays neutral
The course teaches standard physics. Where physicists disagree, it says so and shows the main views side by side. CSD appears once, on the interpretations page, as one view among several, with a note that it's my own work.
How the facts are checked
Every fact on every page has a named source and the date it was last checked. You can see them all on the sources page. If you spot a mistake, use "Ask a question" on the page or email support@explainquantum.com.
The level
Quantum Essentials is pitched at the Awareness level (A1) of the European Competence Framework for Quantum Technologies. It's self-assessed against that framework, not accredited by anyone.
